Once a week, (every Tuesday) during the Tuesday Night Racing season, we will meet at the Velodrome (in the dirt parking lot behind the bathrooms) around 5:30 pm for a fun hour-ish ramble in Florida Canyon. If you don't know what TNR is, then you are missing out on some awesome bike racing and bike culture here in San Diego. We are one of the few cities to still have an operational velodrome and every Tuesday (As and Bs at 6:45pm) and Friday (Cs and Ds at 7pm) from April to September, they have evening races. With that said, we thought it would be fun to ride some of the local trails in Florida Canyon before cheering on our local racers. All dirt capable bikes are welcome, from gravel to MTB, whatever floats your boat. So come, get a little sweaty and dirty before enjoying an ice cold beer and bike racing. It is BYOB and be sure to bring some warm layers, it gets cold in that canyon once the sun sets.
